Leif Friggstad is a registered architect with over 10 years of experience planning, designing and managing a diverse range of project scales and types including educational, recreational, institutional, healthcare, residential, and commercial buildings. After completing degrees in Urban Development and Architecture, Leif worked in Vancouver for 6 years before returning to Saskatoon and joining aodbt in 2016. Leif became a partner in November 2019. Leif is an energetic, creative, hands-on professional whose focus is on the process. Projects begin with goals and conceptual ideas that are realized through rigorous testing against benchmarks identified by a project team including site, quality, distinctiveness, efficiency, budget, and schedule. He aspires to design environments that are reflective of a client’s culture and goals while considering the public context inherent in a project. Leif is also a member of the Association for Learning Environments.
