The Gymnasium and Fitness Centre Project is a much-needed addition to the Physical Activity Centre at the Carlton Comprehensive High School in Prince Albert. The 2,795 m2 gym addition provides Carlton Comprehensive High School with the space to offer an assortment of athletic programs as well as providing seating for more than 1,200 spectators for sporting and public events. The gym accommodates full-size basketball and volleyball courts including two full-size cross courts. The facility also includes an outdoor-accessible football change room, a team room, multiple washrooms, two main change rooms with 400 lockers in each, and two offices for gym teachers. The project also included a new fitness centre and various renovations and improvement to existing school facility.
