École St. Anne Elementary School is first school in the province to achieve LEED Silver certification. The school houses Pre-K to 8 as well as a spacious childcare facility. The two-storey design offered more site area for children to play. By moving stairways into the corridors and opening up the space to provide better visibility from central core of the building allow the majority of the school to be monitored from the desk, resolving concerns about supervision, especially in hidden stairwells. Designed with flexibility in mind, the building can be partitioned so the gymnasium, multi-purpose area, library, and daycare facility can be accessed without requiring access to the rest of the school.
