The vision for this new 15-bed inpatient community hospice is to provide a homelike environment for people who require support and comfort during a difficult period. Originally a former Ursuline Sisters residence, the hospice includes a 2,400 ft² addition and complete renovations, balancing the specific needs of the hospice and the integrity of the original architecture. The design follows a nature-based theme throughout for a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The project objective focuses on meeting the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residents and their loved ones.
