aodbt was commissioned by Saskatoon Motor Products to upgrade the façade of the existing building and renovate the interior office and showroom space. The integrated approach to both design and construction was the key to success for this project. The dealership underwent renovations while remaining operational; the construction team, design team and client group collaborated to develop a phasing plan for the dealership that minimized impact on site and ensured sales and servicing could continue during construction. The renovation project successfully expanded body shop capabilities, created welcoming lobby and customer service areas, and enhanced staff amenities such as office space and meeting rooms. Shortly after the completion of the dealership renovation, aodbt was retained by the client to design a stand-alone building for Saskatoon Motor Products’ previously owned vehicles on the same lot.
