The new office for Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd. reflects a contemporary workplace defined by connection, growth, and a clear expression of company culture. Designed to bring together teams previously working across separate locations, the space supports collaboration while showcasing the company’s expertise within the commercial sector.

Located within an existing second-floor plate, the 430 m² tenant improvement embraces the industrial character of the base building, creating a refined workplace that highlights mechanical innovation and systems integration. An open layout, paired with extensive interior glazing, draws daylight deep into the workspace. Perimeter glazing maximizes natural light, supporting employee well-being, engagement, and overall workplace experience. The space is organized to support future growth through adaptable workstations and multi-use areas, including a meeting room that can transition into a private office over time. A generous multipurpose space serves as a social hub, supporting team gatherings, learning opportunities, and informal connection.

Interior finishes are carefully curated to create a professional and welcoming environment. At reception, a suspended feature installation composed of pipe segments and linear lighting draws inspiration from the firm’s mechanical expertise. Minimal ceiling treatments allow building systems to remain visible, reinforcing a culture of learning and showcasing integrated solutions.

A palette of timeless neutrals is paired with a refined green, aligning with the company’s rebrand. Contrast in both colour and materiality creates visual depth throughout the space. Vinyl wallcoverings introduce subtle patterning reminiscent of ductwork, while exposed concrete is balanced with warm wood elements to create a cohesive material dialogue. In the open office, mechanical systems are finished in a rich charcoal to stand out against their surroundings, while the kitchen highlights bold, colour-coded piping aligned with construction drawing standards.

The result is a workplace that reflects the identity of Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd., supporting collaboration, learning, and a strong sense of community.
