The Martensville High School is envisioned as being a new “heart” for the community of Martensville. The project is a unique partnership between the School, Prairie Spirit School Division, the City of Martensville, and numerous corporate sponsors.

The expansion more than doubles the size of the Grades 9-12 high school and is designed to accommodate more than 750 students. It features open-concept learning spaces allowing for abundant natural light, 20 new classrooms, a computer and science lab, a music room, support spaces for special needs and learning assistance programs, and a performing arts area with a 300-seat theatre that is shared with the community. The project also included renovations to the original classrooms, library and resource centre, gymnasium, and Practical and Applied Arts, Home Economics and Industrial Arts rooms.

The school is connected to the Martensville Athletic Pavilion, a 50,000 square-foot community athletic pavilion that includes a 200-metre running track, a weight room and fitness facility with a stretching area, multi-purpose meeting/activity rooms, and three tournament-size basketball courts.
