The Warman Community Middle School is a joint-use facility with the Warman Community Library and the Legends Centre, offering students access to a vast number of resources and recreational programming. The project was made possible by a partnership between the Prairie Spirit School Division, the City of Warman, and the communities of Hepburn and Osler. The Prairie Spirit School Division and the City of Warman worked alongside to ensure the best synergies are realized from this collaboration. The site development includes unique features allowing for student drop off and staff parking in the Legends Centre parking lot with the community library located in the school and accessed through the front entrance of the school or second floor public mall.

Connected to the Warman Home Centre Communiplex (formerly Legends Centre), the Warman Community Middle School is designed with a lateral circulation forming a ‘grand allee’ second-floor public mall axis, with entry foyer for the recreation centre on one side and the student commons for the school on the other. The unique design and layout include tables and chairs instead of desks in classrooms, and long hallways full of space to learn have replaced long corridors of lockers seen in most schools. The school is divided into three neighbourhoods, each of which has an outdoor classroom, rooftop garden and study spaces.

The Communiplex offers components that benefit the school and the entire community. The multi-use recreation facility houses the Warman Community Library, a 400-seat theatre, two multi-purpose sports fields, a 1000-seat arena, a learn-to-skate ice surface, a child minding room, six gymnasiums, and three multi-purpose rooms.
